We know the Application Form for Expert Coaches asks a lot of you, and that is intentional. Every question you answer helps us understand the depth and breadth of the expertise you would bring to our teams, and we read every word. As a thank you for the time you invest in this application and as recognition of your value, all selected coaches will have their registration fee fully waived for our inaugural ALTgovAI Startup Weekend. But we are thinking far beyond a single weekend.
The detailed profiles you submit here will become the foundation of a coaching roster that we will present to government agencies, foundations, and corporate partners as we pursue funding to build a sustained, compensated coaching program. Our goal is to secure grants and sponsorships that allow us to pay expert coaches fairly for the hours they invest in mentoring the next generation of civic technology startups. By completing this application thoroughly, you are not just earning a free ticket to one event; you are positioning yourself as one of the first members of a professional coaching network that we intend to fund, grow, and compensate well into the future.
